Preserving time
I am looking at the concepts of packaging time and selling time, I took this and got two panels of clear perspecs to press leaves in between,to preserve the "time and colour"that the leave indicate by using tape to seal the 2 panels air tight to not allow decay.
Experimenting with new material
Using PVA glue, leaves, cling film and weights I pressed leaves, seaweed and grass, cut them into panels as a way of using the "time indicator through nature" idea after thinking about recycling and packaging as a way to investigate a possible material I could use.Packaging time using a time indicator as a material as well as preserving the colour in the material.

Post it video
In terms of limitations, like with the stop motion it shows just what can be done only using post its.
Green genius
This was something that interested and encouraged me to think more about sustainable packaging and recycling as an option for a packaging concept?

“In designing this packaging, we focused on a couple key things 1) make it as environmentally friendly as humanly possible, we did so by using 100% recyclable craft board that is 60% post consumer waste and printing with UV inks to make as little impact on the Earth as possible. And 2) design a trash bag package that is actually nice to look at. This included the obvious Glad/Hefty burst, bevel and glowing color madness as well as not falling into the classic “green” pitfalls we all know (i.e. a forest background and a leaf-inspired logo).
With these things driving the design, we created a line of packaging that feels high-quality and pops off the shelves because it sits back”

Interesting die cut packaging

This video made me think about packaging and some more concept based ideas rather than an actual product...which created more possibilities and therefor more ideas for me.

Practicing patience
I thought about time and how different people use their time,is it worth it for you?I went with some of my friends who enjoy fishing to see if what they felt was worth spending time doing was also how i felt. Apparently the fun is in the waiting...its not.I did not have the patience for another trip but I did have a better understanding about how people spend their given time and this made me feel like time really does fly when your having fun,for them it was an easy day of waiting but for me it was a long long long day of waiting.People do live their lives at 60 minutes an hour no matter what but it does seem that what you do with those minutes is what counts, maybe? So I found that instead of trying to beat it if i opened up it became easier.. This is something I did with my concept generations, which helped me just explore with out having to go in too deep

I love this..Sustainable packaging.taken from the dieline blog..big influence to me
Packaging For Snails, Made From Snail Poop.
Yes, you read that right. This packaging was made out of dyed snail excrements, and it is designed to hold cooked snails. Thats a little strange right? Here is what product designer Manuel Jouvin has to say about it:
"During my researches, I pointed out that colored paper has an influence on color snail excrements. In partnership with Sylvie Pierru, a snailfarmer in Picardie (France), we created packagings made of snail excrements and destinated to cooked snails. They are envisaged in the molding cellulose process by replacing recyclable paper by snail dejections."
